The colonoscopy is done routinely today. It is a very important diagnostic test and could save your life if you’re in the early stages of colon cancer. Several studies have been done recently that suggest that if the patient is listening to music through headphones or ear-buds, considerably less anesthesia could be needed. With the many negative side-effects that anesthesia carries, music could be an easy way to ensure a safe procedure!
