You may have heard about the fantastic new book from Dr. Oliver Sacks, “Musicophilia: Tales of Music and the Brain.” Dr. Sacks has been on national TV shows for the past several weeks and this book promises to be another best-seller for him. I haven’t read it yet but I’m getting ready to order it from Amazon. Dr. Sacks was one of my first heroes when I stepped into the field of music and medicine. He had just testified in Congress about the power of music in many musical specialties.
