Music and Mother's Day! Wow!

I know that my mother sang to me, played records for me and gave me lessons at an early age.  One of my fondest memories in lying in the bed at night and hearing her play the piano after we were all in bed.  I also remember standing by her in church and listening to her sing hymns with a voice that I wanted to have when I grew up.  My mother loves to sing and she loves music of all kinds.  She could hardly wait to take us to NYC to a Broadway musical and knew all the words to all the songs of many of the classic 50’s musicals like “My Fair Lady” and “South Pacific.”

To celebrate my mother and my daughters, I’ve put together a little musical Mother’s Day package.  Please check it out and see if you think your Mama would love it!!

Along a parallel thought process to the lullaby is the nursery rhyme.

    Statistics show that

Wow! That’s pretty cool John! Makes sense to me. I’m not so sure that children today memorize as many nusrsery rhymes and children’s songs as they used to. It’s a shame and a great loss!
